USCG Cutter Duane The 327 ft. "Secretary Class" Coast Guard Cutter Duane was put down as an artificial reef on November 27, 1987. It has since become home to a wide variety of pelagic and reef fish and host numerous types of coral formations. The Duane sits upright, with the bow pointing to the southwest. She offers a unique dive as everything is intact and properly oriented, giving divers an increased sense of "ease" about the dive. Her main deck level is at about 107 ft. with structure as high as 70 ft. This gives divers an opportunity to plan and make multi-level dives, safely extending bottom times.
Depth range 50-125 ft.
